This hat and mittens set is a great way to learn stranded knitting techniques. First master working with two colors and weaving your floats as you knot the hat, then you will be ready to move onto more complex shaping techniques with the mittens. This pattern also contains a step by step Fair Isle Knitting tutorial. You will be wearing what you've learned in no time!

Kit includes three 50 gram balls of Wool of the Andes Worsted in Indigo Heather and one 50 gram ball each of Wool of the Andes Worsted in Amethyst Heather, Rouge, Blossom Heather, Cobblestone Heather, Dove Heather and White along with pattern instructions for hat and mittens.

You will need 4 mm and 4.5mm 32" and 16" circular needle or DPNs, stitch markers and yarn needle. Finished measurements: to fit20-23" head size, woment's small, medium, large hand.
