This is an worsted/aran weight 100% Merino wool from Studio Donegal.  A genuine Donegal wool with tweedy neps, this knits beautifully and has a lovely drape.  The yarn softens when worn and handled and is just lovely.  The colour range is fabulous with deep, rich shades and toning neps.  If you click on an image then you will see a close up of the shade.

Lovely soft yarn in gorgeous colour. I have used orange to knit a lacy over shoulder loose cardigan for the summer. It does break if pulled firmly so I wouldn't probably use it for socks. Lovely soft feel and has worked well for my project.
