1. This is an aran weight 100% pure wool from Jamieson's of Shetland that comes in a range of beautiful, heathered shades.  It's a bit softer than Spindrift, their 4 ply weight, but will also soften more on wash and wear.  It has the same properties as Spindrift and so is good for steeking and felting.  The colours are really lovely and this is a great yarn for warm and cosy accessories as well as garments.
