  1. KnitPicks Palette is a 100% Peruvian Highland wool in a fingering/4ply weight.  It is perfect for Fair Isle or stranded knitting as it has the properties required for steeking and comes in a range of 150 colours.  The yarn is soft enough to wear next to the skin and makes a good alternative to Jamieson's Spindrift if that's considered too harsh.  This is nice to knit with and is a really good inexpensive yarn.
