- This yarn is designed for making Sanquhar garments. Sanquhar is a particular form of patterned knitting, traditionally found in Scotland and attributed to Sanquhar. This 3 ply yarn is a blend of wool and nylon with quite a twist making this a hard wearing and surprisingly soft yarn. We sell this by the ball, and in kits.
