Worsted and Aran

 

Worsted Weight Yarn is often assimilated to Aran yarn even if there are some small differences between them. Indeed, worsted weight yarn is finer than Aran yarn and is knitted with a 4.5mm needle, while Aran yarn usually calls for 5mm needles.

 

Worsted weight yarn is ideal for knitting scarves, hats, gloves, sweaters, baby blankets, cardigans or cowls.
