Return and Refund Policy for Great British Yarns

Thank you for shopping with Great British Yarns. We strive to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund policy below:

1. No Return Policy for Sale Items: All sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

2. Right to Cancel: You have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receipt of the goods. If you wish to cancel your purchase within this period, please contact us in writing or by e-mail. Include your order number and the reason for cancellation if possible.

3. Returning Unwanted Goods: Should you decide to return unwanted goods, they must be received back to us in unused, unopened, and re-saleable condition within 14 days of delivery. We will process a refund for the goods as follows:

• Orders paid by credit or debit card will be refunded directly to the original card.

• Orders paid via PayPal will be refunded to your PayPal account.

• Orders paid by other means will be refunded by cheque.

• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Liability for Damaged Returns: We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to securely wrap the product to avoid damage and return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or courier. Please note that proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

5. Required Information: When returning goods, please include your name, address, and order number, along with a copy of your purchase receipt to facilitate the refund process.

6. Cost of Returns: The cost of returning the goods will be borne by you unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

7. Damaged Goods or Missing Items: In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods or if items are missing from your parcel, please notify us within 3 days of receipt. We will re-dispatch the goods upon return of the faulty items.

8. Non-returnable Items: Items such as patterns and books will not be accepted for return due to copyright issues unless we have sent the wrong items. Custom-made items cannot be returned unless faulty.

10. Governing Law: Purchases of products through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them will be governed by the law of England and Wales.
