Meet Cosma

COSMA is a vegan, eight-ply twisted DK-weight yarn that combines the finest 60% organic Peruvian Pima cotton with 40% Austrian modal — a sustainably certified natural fibre derived from beech wood cellulose. The result is a yarn with a delicate sheen, an exceptionally soft hand, and a beautiful drape that works straight off the needles.

Origin & Craft

The Pima cotton is grown in Peru, one of the world's finest cotton-producing regions, prized for its exceptional length and softness. The modal is sourced from Austria using sustainably certified beech wood cellulose. Both fibres are spun and dyed by our fair-trade certified production partner in Peru.

Project Ideas

Airy tops, lightweight sweaters, open-stitch jackets, baby garments, and crochet projects. A pullover in size M (38–40) requires approximately 550 g.

Care Instructions

Machine wash on a wool/delicate cycle at 30°C. Use a mild, enzyme-free wool detergent in a low dose. Reshape and dry flat away from direct sunlight.
