Ridge Sweater by Hiromi Nagasawa

RIDGE SWEATER is a plain silhouette sweater with gentle ridges running downwards from the collar. Abundant number of ribs on the collar create stretchy, flexible opening, which can be worn simple round neck or boat neck, depending on how it is styled.

This sweater is entirely knit round. Starting with the long tail cast on, knit some rounds for the yoke, fold it to sew to make the folded neck. Continue to increase stitches to shape the body and the sleeve. After separating the body, keep creating the ridge/rib line on the body by increasing or decreasing the number of stitches in the same round to the hem. The sleeve is shaped by decreasing all the way to the cuff. Although this pattern describes both full (wrist) length and short (elbow) length sleeves, it is all up to you to make them any length. Temperature is warming up; so bracelet length, maybe? Enjoy this sweater in any temperature, for any occasion, with any wonderful idea you like.
